However, if the ultimate load-carrying capacity of FRP grids is exceeded, fracture will occur. Some time ago, a customer like our manufacturer consulted if in the normal use of the case, FRP grille resin and fiberglass yarn more serious dispersion will occur fracture, what is the reason?
As we said earlier, there is no fracture in normal use. The only reason is that the quality of FRP grids is not up to standard. So, where are the errors in the production and processing?
1. As mentioned earlier, resin and glass fibre are dispersed, which means that the choice of raw materials is problematic. Fiberglass yarn can be divided into neutral alkali yarn and non-alkali yarn. There are many kinds of resins, but there are only two or three kinds of fiberglass reinforced plastics (FRP) grids. The quality of medium alkali fiberglass yarn is the first level compared with alkali-free fiberglass yarn, so the reason why resin and fiberglass are dispersed is that medium alkali fiberglass yarn with poor quality is selected for production and put into use without certain technical treatment.
2. The last step of FRP grille forming mentioned in the past is heating to solidify it, which is also the cause of FRP grille fracture. If the temperature is not reached, the resin can not be fully combined with the fiberglass yarn, and the heating time is not enough, this will happen.
3. Some illegal businessmen speed up production by reducing the number of layers of fiberglass yarn to improve production efficiency, which will also lead to changes in the overall stability of fiberglass reinforced plastic grids. Fracture and separation of resin and fiberglass yarn will occur when the yarn is used for a long time.
All of the above can lead to the fracture of FRP grids, and the quality of products should be paid attention to.
